The Sitewww.edog.fr, the Application and the eDOG service (hereinafter "our Services") are offered by the company EDOG, a simplified joint-stock company, registered with the RCS of Bordeaux under number 911 038 032 whose head office is located at 141 Rue Amedee Saint Germain 33800 Bordeaux (hereinafter “eDOG” or “We”). 

eDOG is committed to protecting the privacy of all visitors, Customers and Users of its Services. It undertakes that the collection and processing of your data will be carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (RGPD) and the so-called “Informatique et Libertés” law.

The Privacy Policy presents our commitments and the fundamental principles that we apply to the protection of personal data. It informs you of the procedures for collecting and using your data, the options and the rights you have. It supplements the General Conditions of Use of the Service. Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meaning given to them in said Terms of Use.

We may modify the Privacy Policy at any time in order to comply with any regulatory, jurisprudential, editorial or technical developments. Customers and Users are informed by any means in the event of a significant change to the Policy. Before each navigation, we invite you to refer to its latest version.

Who are the people affected by this policy?

The collection and processing of personal data concerns all visitors, Customers and Users of our Services.

When you register or access our services, you will receive all the mandatory information relating to the collection and processing of your Data.

In accordance with our General Conditions of Use, access to our Services is reserved for adults.

 

What personal data is processed?

When creating an EDOG account, registering, using our Services, the following personal data may be collected and processed:

  • Personal identification data (surname, first name, date of birth, selfie, identity document, driving licence, BCR);

  • Personal contact data (e-mail, postal address, telephone number);

  • Personal data for payment purposes (bank data);

  • Scooter location data (recovery and return location, trip history);

  • Browsing data (IP addresses, connection data, browser type and version, type and version of your browser plugins, operating systems and platforms, the advertising identifier of your device);

  • Location data from your mobile device.

When do we collect your personal data?

Personal data comes from the information that you communicate to us directly when you register for our Services.

The history of your journeys is collected when using our Services.

During your visit to our Site or Application, navigation and location data, from cookies or similar technologies, will be collected.

Data may also be collected when participating in a contest, a customer survey or when communicating with our customer service.

 

What information do we provide to you when collecting your data?

 

When your data is collected, you are informed in particular:

  • The objectives of the collection of this data (purposes);

  • If certain data must be provided or if it is optional and, where applicable, the consequences of failure to provide mandatory data (failing to provide mandatory data, access to the Services will be impossible);

  • The quality of EDOG data controller;

  • of your rightsand how to exercise them with EDOG;

  • The legal basis justifying the lawfulness of the processing (for example, if the processing is based on your consent, or on the need to comply with a legal obligation, or on the need for the execution of the contract which binds us, on the legitimate interest of EDOG or a third party…);

  • If we plan to transfer your data outside the European Union, we put in place guarantees and inform you of these guarantees ensuring the compliance of these transfers with the Data Protection Regulations;

  • Storage periods or, where this is not possible, the criteria used to determine this period;

We keep your personal data for the time necessary for the processing for which it was collected and in compliance with the regulations. We then erase the personal data, unless we still need it (for evidentiary purposes, for civil law claims which cannot exceed 5 years, or due to legal retention obligations).

Who are the recipients of your data?

 

The recipients of the data are:

  • eDOG, its subsidiaries, affiliates, the departments involved in processing your registration, our customer service;

  • our service providers and subcontractors, in particular for the purposes of processing your payments or authenticating your documents;

  • our insurance company (and/or our brokerage firm) in the event of claims and theft;

  • the competent police authorities in the event of an offence;

  • municipal authorities to improve transport services;

  • in general, the competent authorities, on request only, to meet legal obligations.

 

 

Transfers of data outside the EU

 

eDOG may in particular use a file storage and sharing service and a rights management service provider, whose servers or systems may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), resulting in the transfer of Data in outside the territory of the EEA.

These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and security of the Data in accordance with the Data Protection Regulations. You can obtain a copy of the protection guarantees by contacting the data controller electronically (info@edog.fr).

Information from Cookies and similar technologies may be transferred outside the European Union for hosting and processing for advertising purposes or audience measurement.  

 

 

Are your data secure?

 

We undertake to take all useful precautions, organizational and technical measures appropriate to preserve the security, integrity and confidentiality of the Data, and in particular, to prevent them from being altered, modified or  deleted or that unauthorized third parties have access to it.

In particular, we have taken the following measures:

  • During their transmission, we use encryption systems to guarantee the security of your personal data;

  • Access to the network and information systems is limited to personnel with access rights;

  • Users have unique passwords (password management guaranteeing strong passwords and double authentication);

  • Firewalls

However, we cannot guarantee the elimination of all risk of misuse of the Data. It is important that you maintain the confidentiality of your identifiers in order to prevent unlawful use of your account.

 

 

What are your rights ?

 

In accordance with the Data Protection Regulations, and subject to payment of all sums due as specified in the General Conditions of Use of our services, you may at any time withdraw the consent that you would have previously given to us when registering for our services.

You can access and obtain a copy of the data concerning you, have them rectified, under certain conditions, oppose their processing or have them erased.

You also have the right to limit the processing of your Data and their portability to third parties.

Finally, you have the possibility of defining directives relating to the fate of your Personal Data after your death.
